honestly, i've never seen a replacement bulb just totally blow away stock light output. if it does, its only shortlived (a la silverstar), or just too damn expensive for the minimal improvement (a la piaa etc).
maybe invest in some fog lights?

i honestly didnt notice shiet when i did a 9005 conversion. sure it was a bit brighter, but the coverage was different so it kind of negated itself.
the silverstars dont last long.
i just stick with stock bulbs. that way when they blow out, you're not pissed that you threw your money away. sorry.

h: I did the 9005 conversion in my DC2 and while it looked a lot better I went through bulbs a lot...and it got to be a waste of money. Some people don't have issues with short bulb life though. :shrug:

yeah retrofits are nice. $20 bulbs > $400-600 retrofit plus inexperienced labor and parts
