so.. they (construction people) have been.. i don't even really know what to call it.. reconstructing.. the whole outside area around my building and inbetween dorms. they've spent all summer tearing up all teh concrete, all the grass, trees, dirt, changed everything. they didn't even finish though. they finished pouring the cement yesterday, so some is still roped off and then there is no grass, it's just all mounds of dirt. idiots.

and what's the difference between concrete and cement? solid vs. liquid?
if they just stopped they probably went over contracted budget h: or waiting for the concrete to cure
cement is part of concrete h: plus gravel... i think sand too if I recall correctly h:
well they had to stop because students are arriving today.
they took their damn time pouring all the new sidewalks, but then realized they had to catch up and did like the same amount that took them two months to do, in four days :chuckles:
