nope i was right, it runs rich not lean. The MAF reads a certain amount of air, and sends a certain amount of fuel, so when you have a bov that vents to teh atmosphere, you have the fuel still there but not enough air, so you run rich between the shifts.

new header + up pipe + BOV will NOT increase by 200hp

now way no how ... i dont care how much they cost cant happen

the bov was just a waste of money as the stock bov is more then efficient enough to handle anything the stock turbo can put out

hmm why did I think it was the other way around.

edit: nvmnd I was on a completely wrong train of thought.

If you vent to atmosphere then the MAF would read less air and subsequently reduce fuel injected. It wouldn't still inject a a certain fuel amount when reading a low MAF reading.
the air isnt measured again after the maf so once its vented there is no back up to re read teh air to determine the correct amount of fuel again
