 Why you don't think this is an accurate way to test drive cars?? lmfao, Everyone does this nowadays, like instead of going to test drive a car, you just play GT4 and you can make a decision on buying a brand new car, i also hear dealerships do this now too! (testdrives FTL)

have fun finding a clean s14.

and then when u do have fun replacing broken plastic and old rubber.

and dont be a douche and rock 4 different styles of rims at the same time and keep the car one color, and if u must add/remove body panels, dont put them back on until its painted the same as the rest of the body.

and no, painting the whole car primer is ghetto.

but if u must, at least take the time to do a good job masking off the windows and trim, as well doing an even paint job.

i'm tired of seeing of all these poorly executed cars in los angeles.

even if you're on a budget, doesnt mean you have to throw attention to detail out the window.

but other than that, have fun and be safe!

:slap:

When you are starting out you hit shit and have to replace panels often. If you are smart you either don't care if the color matches or you put your car in primer. Why waste a lot of money on paint when you are just going to take it out again most likely?

Function does not always beget form and if you are more worried about the looks hang your keys up right now because nobody wants to hear your pussy bleed.

please tell me your not going to drive your "drift car" as a daily driver. if so just stop right now and go get something else. a "drift car" is ment to get banged up and will get banged up.

i understand that its not going to be a showcar and that shit will have to get replaced but if u saw the rolling drift POS's as often as i do here in LA, then u'd understand why i suggested to pay more attention to detail.

i've seen examples with spray paint heavily oversprayed onto windows, wheels, tires, and other various parts. yeah even though its your drift beater, doesnt mean you should be hindering your view through your heavily stickered and oversprayed windshield. and if you're going to be a wannabe takumi in the canyons, then dont overspray onto your headlights/fogs/taillights where your own and other drivers ability to see your car's exterior lighting is compromised

you can easily discern when a car is beat up because its actually being put to use, or if its just beat up because the owner is posing the look he/she thinks how a drift car is supposed to look like (think random stickers everywhere and stuffed animals on towhooks and pink rims etc).

also, if its supposed to be a track/drift car, then why spend the money on things like jdm body parts when their usdm counterparts are much cheaper? these were the issues that were in my mind when i made the post.

but overall, its still most important to have fun and be safe.
