Canon SD630 6.0 or SD950 12.1
Okay so is their a major difference between my old Canon 6.0 Vs the new 12.1 Mega Pixels? Is it worth upgrading to a camera with more Mega Pixels?

it really depends what you're going to use it for.
online / web use ... don't do it. Even at 7.1MP, the images become way too large to compress evenly. (to 640 by 480) When you take a raw picture of that size, and crunch it down, the pixels tend to color clump together.
The MP race is more of a marketing point with camera manufacturers now.
I do like Canon quite a bit though.

I thin Point and shoot cameras are pointless beyond 7mp...I still shoot with my 5 mp point and shoot and the pictures come out wonderful...no need to upgrade...waste of money and you would be one of the statistics of those who have fallen for the gimmick war.
