No not at all.
I just don't see the point of his comment since I own the damn PSP and understand it is a different format, but I can also do all my loading and stuff directly through my PSP if I choose to.
The MicroSD thing I understand for the Nintendo systems, still don't see why you would need it for a smartphone when they synch to the comp directly and same with PDAs.

If you are just using it as a storage device without a phone or game system or whatever than it is a pretty dumb and expensive way to store info considering flashdrives are considerably cheaper than the MicroSD platform.
The fact that it is being used with the games and phones I understand, but why an external reader was needed I didn't understand. For the Nintendo system loads I understand but if you have a smart phone then it makes no sense since the phone jacks in directly to the comp to synch and load....you see where I was coming from yet?

FWIW, at $15 it's cheaper than the 2gb thumbdrive i bought the other day and that's still pretty cheap.
I think the convenience of being able to have one reader and multiple microsd cards for different storage tasks or different types of information might be feasible.

If that is the case then you didn't purchase a true smartphone and are an idiot for thinking you did
