It's samsara. No worries.

And my aunt and uncle live down the street, so our families are very close. It's actually like one big family. So it's difficult.

I can't imagine having to burry your own child. :/

edit:

Thanks for the support. It really does mean something. I still had a small gathering last night of whoever was available. It was a good time even if it hurt to laugh. My cousin was always smiling and joking, and that's what I will remember her for. We were very similar in that sense.

Wow, nice vocabulary. Again, I'm sure it's rough. At least your cousin isn't a meth'd out, heroine'd out crack whore who is probably better off dead

Well, RB, don't feel bad because you didn't know this. And it's not really similar. She was addicted to pain killers after she hurt her back while lifting a patient (she was a RN). She was in the process of cleaning her life back up, and was clean for 7 months.

I think anxiety over a job interview caused her to relapse. She was found with a bump to her head after taking a shower, which could mean she took too much of whatever and fell. Unfortunately her boyfriend of two years was at work at the time, and found her when he got home.

I do know that she told her boyfriend said that she was going to the grocery store and then her parent's house that night, but never went to her parent's house. So, unfortunately she may have relapsed. That may hurt more, because I know my aunt and uncle are likely blaming themselves for "not doing more".

You never know who fully grasps this or not, though. Good on you for keeping it in perspective at a time of loss.
