With two more co-defendants distancing themselves from Michael Vick, the embattled Falcons quarterback was considering whether to accept a plea agreement for his alleged role in a dogfighting operation.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on its Web site that attorneys for Vick were in plea negotiations Tuesday afternoon with federal prosecutors. Collins R. Spencer III, a spokesman for Vick's lawyers, declined to comment when reached by the newspaper.

I think the max penalty is 5 years, 250K.
A federal prison is much better than a state one ... but I'm sure he'll be doing time now, I'm guessing 3 years, 2 with good behavior.
I think the Patriots are looking to sign him when he's released. sounds like something that team would do.
