Never understood how the hell sandcastles like this are made. Is that special sand? Do they mix it with something else? How do they get it so high or to be so stirdy?


Everytime I make one I can't make it past a foot high without it crumpling into pieces. :thinking:

It's compacted very very tightly, then mixed with a decent amount of water until it becomes almost pliable. Depending on the builder, they may add a spray adhesive to get it to smoothen out and stick better.
