Default MAD!!! So I fuxored my video card

Well in light of getting my computer up and running with legit copies of Windows XP and some other stuff, I spent some money on some hardware upgrades, namely the LCD widescreen, and some much quieter fans (that have yet to be installed).

So i was taking apart the heatsink/fan assembly on my Radeon 9700 video card, and when I finally nudged the heatsink off the GPU, I noticed that it took a couple of GPU resistors with it. The freagn thermal paste acted as a glue and took the resistors with it.

needless to say i'm pretty pissed.

that is all.

yeah AGP

everyone sells PCI-e nowadays.

i dont think my mobo even has a pci-e slot.

its all good i only use my computer to surf, mp3, and edit pictures.

but i'm still pissed. the fan i got costs 35 bucks. now i might just buy a 50 dollar video card that doesnt even have a fan.

Nvidia or go home.

By the way, i'll probably buy that 6800GT wagz. It would be a good backu up.

My 7600GS is kinda outdated, but still performs VERY well.
