car fax
cuz im looking at an 03 tl type s and its been off a lease for about a year it has about 75K and its going for a pretty good price...so i was just wondering if something may be wrong with it other than the car fax coming back clean
Just remember, at 75K, you're getting really close to service time.
- water pump
- drive belts
- timing belt
- alternator
- new rotors are inevitable
- the EGR might be gummed up
- inspect the brakes
- check the tires ... if they're worn, replacements will run $500+

No. When I bought my 1989 BMW it looked like it had some minor front end damage, nothing to serious from looking under it and the hood, but when I took it to the body shop to see about getting all the rust and dents out the owner told me it wasn't worth the effort and the money to fix it to like new. I got a carfax on it and there was no accident reported before the one where I got hit in the side. Someone did the repairs without having a shop report it, and there was no police report filed.
