Usually August for most of the country.
We haven't had a bad summer around here but it has had a lot of overcast days.

i heard them say this morning that we were gonna have a cold front come thru thurs or fri & bring the temps down into the mid 90's

currently at 5:45 pm, it's 97 w/ a heat index of 101 according the the weatherbug on my desktop

My wife tries to tell me July is the hottest month, and so far this August has had more 90* plus days than all of July here.
