if your lenses arent AF-S and AF-I then be carefull what body you buy... For example on a D40 you cant use lenses that arent AF-s AF-i

i took my grip off my XT because i brought in the body for cleaning, and i wonder how i ever took pictures without the grip. i have big hands so the XT/XTi body by itself is pretty uncomfortable.
which one did u get?

you can use the older nikkor lens. you have to program the camera with the lens information.
