you you know of any other way to cash a check without a fee?
i usually just fill out a slip, stick it in an envelope and drop it in the box .. i still goto the bank, but i would never wait in line for something like that
nearest atm for my credit union is 3 hours away ... i dont think you can make deposits at just any bank :dunno:
Maybe open a checking account at a bank with ATMs closer to you? Most banks will have free checking accounts and free ATM transactions. Even if you only use it to cash checks occasionally and still do most of your banking at your credit union, it'll be free and a lot more convenient.
Hell, I've got a credit card, auto loan, and savings account at a credit union, a credit card and checking/ATM account at a different bank, and another credit card & money market at a different bank. Some are for convenience and location and some are for good terms/APRs/whatever.
Oh, and RB you should totally ask the girl out. You have nothing to loose.

thats exactly what i use it for h:
i just prefer the human one on one where i get a instant receipt and i know it was deposited right
The only time I go into the branch where I work anymore is to make a credit card payment. I could do it via the mail but I don't want to waste 41 cents on a stamp h:
And thanks, I think I'll go do it this evening after work. I've never flat out asked a girl out...it usually just sort of happens and it's implied rather than a flat out "will you go out with me?".
