Having a hard time deciding
I think it's the 'fro in your ava. :lmao: I always picture "The Ladie's Man" from SNL when I read your posts... so... yeah..
You should become a sociopath. Then you won't get those pesky feelings of guilt and remorse when you lie to your family members to skip out on joining them for things they want to do with you.
OR you could say you've been feeling real stressed out lately and want to take some time for yourself and they'll probably understand.

Riiiiiiight.
I'm sure I know my own family better then anyone here. While my sister and brother would totaly understand... my mother would not shut up about something like this for a very long time.
And... no... me and my well being first. It's not like I'm dicking anyone over.
Take the time for yourself, sounds like you need it more than you need to be around the rest of the family, don't let them guilt you into coming for the whole time. If it's within a reasonable drive go at sometime and take your dog with you. We usually take STARR! with us to relatives, if they don't like it too bad we just might not come back for a while. She behaves, and I'm sure your dog does too, probably better than most 7 year olds and under.
