So there is a local guitar hero contest at a guitar shop about 10 minutes from my house. The winner gets a package deal of a guitar and amp (cost $600). I just beat the game about 2 weeks ago so I'm going to give it a shot. The contest is on the 25th. If i win i plan on trying to sell the package and pocket $600. I already have a nice amp and a good guitar so i don't want or need it. $600 for being good at a video game?

you better be able to rock out on expert or you have no shot. there are little kids that can rip it up on expert, so you better be able to hang.

 

Well i have half the expert song at 5 stars and the other half 4's and 3's.

Unless you can FC (or get 98%) on most of the songs and know when to use your SP, your chances are going to be slim.

 

Well i am good at guitar hero and so far have 21 of the expert songs at 5 stars. I'm not thinking a local competition (Salem) is going to bring many good players. I don't think my chances are slim but i don't think i have it in the bag ether.

 

can you beat experts at llike 99% with the code that speeds up the notes on?

i cant do it at all.. couple of my friends can, they are amazing at it for some reason.
