Default Sold the Civic

Well, the car that got me through college and into my first couple of winters at my first job drove off the other day...

My parents bought the 96 Civic LX brand new and I bought it from them with about 40K miles on it when I went to college.

Fast forward to last week. The car has 179,700 miles on it, is in very good mechanical shape and has some rust on the rear fenders.

It is sad to see it go, but the $4,600 I sold it for takes my pain away.

Nice price! My manager at work bought a 96 EX Coupe for $2500 w/ 110k, and sold it two years later for $4500 w/ 160k... people just want those Civics...
