unless theres some sort of contamination going on I wouldn't worry about it. There was a few e.coli problems with the tap water at my school, but thats been cleared up

I drink tap water. Nothing wrong with bottled water either, though it doesn't have a chlorine residual so it does have a tendency to have higher HPC bacteria counts.
