Disconnect the trap and clean it out by hand. It is really the only real way to do it.

Drano will work...kinda but not as well as getting in there and cleaning it out by hand.

I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and take the trap off. I should wrap the threads of the pipes with teflon tape before everything goes back together, no?

Get a pipe wrench, do not use channel locks or a "monkey wrench" they will only fuck the damn thin gup pretty good and make more work for you.

This is a proper pipe wrench

Last year after about 15 years, my dad and I decided to find out why our 2nd floor toilet took FOREVER to flush. We've used all kinds of chemicals and the "snake" and nothing worked. We took off the toilet to put a new one on to find out that there was a big black solid substance that was covering 3/4 of the hole. I dunno if it was shit that got caught and built up over the years or if it was from when I threw a toy in there when I was young and it accumilated into some strange foreign shit rock. :hsugh:

:chuckles:

Stick a 2JZ on one side with the T67's downpipe venting into the top of the pipe. Problem solved.
