anyway, back to the point...if you've got nothing to compare the mac to, how do you know that the mac held up so well? Let's throw an IBM/Lenovo under there and see how well it does, ceteris paribas.

well the IBM will outlast because at the price of the macbook and repair costs, you'd just buy another one. case closed.
