i was at my recruiters office as usual for my workout. got back from my run and there's this really big dude standing there and another big dude sitting in the chair talking with one of the other recruiters. i didnt really pay much attention to them as i was gasping for air myself.

they leave a few minutes later and the recruiter starts talking with the other recruiters about the kid. turns out the guy standing up was wanting to enlist and the guy in the chair was his dad. they put him on the scale but couldnt get his weight because it only goes up to 350lbs. :eek3: then as the kid was sitting down the chair broke. one of the metal legs bent in half. :eek3: that's why he was standing up.

we all got a good laugh out of that, but i felt bad for the guy. :hs:

funny thing is this kid and the recruiter talked before a few weeks ago and the recruiter told him then that his weight disqualified him. but apparently he forgot he told the kid that and told him to come into the office when the kid called yesterday. :doh:

 

It doesn't surprise me that army recruiters would laugh about that after they left.

Maybe it's a sign that his ass needs to forget about sitting.

At least he's making an effort I guess. I wouldn't have gone back after being denied.
