Is the fact that I never got SP2 for XP bad?

My computer runs like shit. I cant watch any media and see lots of problems in FireFox and its starting to piss me off lol.

SHould I get SP2?

SP2 is always good. All SPs are always good. I don't think it will do much for media.

Just reinstall XP, stop all services you don't needs under services.msc. Disable all users other than yours and Admin. and double check your MSconfig.exe every once in a while to make sure there is no shady crap starting.
