how easy is it to access passwords
Pretty easy. And by pretty, I mean a couple lines of Java and you've got it.
Firefox is easy to get them. Go to the preferences -> Security -> Show passwords. Has a list of all sites, all usernames and all passwords.
Non-internet passwords, if they're saved, like I said. A couple lines of Java and you've got it. Passwords for encrypted files are a little harder but there a lots of programs out there that will crack it faster than a stick of frozen butter will melt on the sun.
Passwords for users on XP are easy too. There are programs to boot from that will give you the password, let you reset and let you set all user passwords, even the admins.

There you go. A nice easy way to get the usernames and passwords from XP.
I wish the Costco computers still ran XP. I forgot about it till now, but it would be funny to go change all of the backgrounds to something random, turn off the start bar on all profiles as well as the menus in the start bar. :reechy:
