i remember seeing a vid on break i think about how to use the windows cd to erase the login password & assign a new one, but can't seem to find it....maybe it wasn't break.com
:dunno:

found this:

http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/...ging-password/

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321305

think this was what the vid showed:

Can't you just restart it in Safe Mode? That bypasses the login section on my XP machine. (It's not a network comp, just my home PC w/ normal Windows login screen.)
