I'm guessing around $18,410.40 +housing, clothing and food allowances. Am I in the ballpark?

I don't get housing and clothing pay. Food allowance would be if I lived off base; they do put $2xx in for food, but take a little less than that amount out because they provide the food.

what does that have to do with you buying a shitty car? There are plenty of other options that don't involve buying a VW. They are known to be crap, and look like little bitch rides. That being said at the current moment your income does VASTLY out play mine as mine is currently 0.

VW are not known to be shitty cars outside the Honda Community.

Yet again your logic fails.

Consumer Reports: "Volkswagen showed the steepest increase in problems as its vehicles age. "

Horrible cars, stop defending them. Yes, there are some models such as the turbo diesels and the VR6 models which are known for mechanical reliability, but as a vast whole, Volkswagen and Audi are garbage.
