no lee was pointing out that you COULD in fact drive that car in MOST states. its not that many states that have strict emissions laws

No state is going to let you replace a Fuel injected motor with a Carbed one. Besides the fact that it's impossible to meet emissions. Even Indiana says that you have to swap to a newer motor and then meet the standards of the year the motor came out.
