most people don't need more than 4mp in a camera but 7 is standard now as 3 was 5 years ago.

when i had one, before i broke it a while ago. was nikon s6 6.0 mp. it was my pocket digi took it to the clubs out anywhere i didnt want to carry my dslr's. so it was for personal and internet posting.
