The melting pot is hella good. You'll pay $100+ for two people, but it's very filling, the food and service is top grade and it's much more unique than a steak house or other dining place since you essentially get to cook your own food. Some think it's stupid to have to cook it yourself, but that way you get to choose exactly how you'd like it done and get to enjoy the experience. It's way fun. Go and enjoy yourself. And yes, they serve alcohol, but expect to pay the same premium prices they charge at other high grade restaurants.

I already set aside $200 for dinner so money isn't really an issue. My issue is if i'm paying $100+ for dinner, i better come out unbuckling a couple notches off my belt

last time i went my fam took our moms out to mothers day. i went a few times before. its more for the atmosphere and the experience. i wasnt to into the food or fondue in general. you cant get full sorta, but you will spend a good 1.5-2hrs there to eat it all with the different servings and formalities you go through. its a good place to take a chick though, they especially like the desert, usually consisting of chocolate dipped variety pack. not really my cup of tea, but every now and again aint to horrible.

you can just go there for desert too, its like $25 for a couple.

I've been there a few times and no one has really spoken to the quality of the food. its not just bread and sausage and cheese, if you order that and a chocolate it will come in well under 100.

The main course is either a broth or oil base and they give you wide variety of excellent raw meats and battered veggies you can cook. it is expensive but it is a good date, as it a really cool experience and will take several hours. you will not leave hungry.
