same here. I've donated 3 times before but the last time I did my body crashed for a while. I had to sit there for a half hour because I couldn't stand up straight. That was even after I had eaten a couple cookies and some juice. :hs:

i donate plasma all the time when i am poor.. they pay about $60 a week if you go twice a week (max allowed)...

I think the last time they payed it was around $10 here. I seriously considered it at the time b/c was more po' than I am now (unemployed) but it nevered happened.

I seem to remember donating in the past but was a very long time ago.

I'm ashamed to say that I'll likely only go if I hear they're in serious need or if they start offering money again (to my knowledge it's been worth $0 for quite a while around here).

never, every time I get blood drawn, I get a huge bruise for weeks and can't move my arm for days.

and it's important to make sure they use a clean needle, it might be extremely unlikely but if I got herpaids from donating blood, I would be super pissed :upset:

I actually have never donated blood.....I have Crohns disease (just like Brad), and they don't know what causes it. Just to be safe, i've avoided donating blood. Lil paranoid, but oh well.
