i may have found a used Treo 750 for $200. I could sell my 8125 for $200.

Now, will I need a new sim card? My current phone, obviously, isn't 3g. I'm not sure I want to call Cingular and ask them since their CS sucks sometimes.

when i got my blackjack, they gave me a new 3g sim card, i dont know if its necessary though.

 

I dont think so. I have sprint so I dont have a sim card but my boy uses cingular and I think he just put it in and it worked fine

 

I'm on cingular & the phone is locked to cingular. I guess when I get it I'll put in my SIM and see if it works and if not, I'll go to a Cingular store & pick up a 3g SIM.

Treo is the civic of pda phones.
I wouldn't really get them unless I "LOVE" palms
and as far as your sim card goes, just go get it in the store.
OR you can call their CS and tell them that you want to upgrade your sim to 3G.
they mailed me my 3G card last year for free..

 

The 750 has WM5 on it.

 

Take your SIM out of your current phone and post up pics of each side. I can tel you if it's 3g.

 

uh.. i hope he's smart enough to figure it out himself.. 3G sim cards says "3G" on them... -.-

 

I know my current sim isn't 3g. It's a couple years old. I was asking if I could use my sim in a 3g phone or if I had to get a new sim.
