dont get drunk ... but have just enough to take the edge off ... i always do much better if i have a drink or two to loosen me up before i go out to meet people. it helps you be just a lil more relaxed

same here. i met some chic up in philly and we both ended up getting much more comfortable after having a drink together. having a drink before you meet someone < having a drink w/ that person. just loosen's the both of you up.

Any carnivals going on in your area? Maybe something not so traditional as dinner and/or a movie? What sparked you asking her out on a date? If it was shared interests.. maybe look into something you know you both enjoy?
