morning all

first day back from vacation.

gone 1 week and some asshole decides my parking spot that i've had for the last 9 months is suddenly looking mighty nice

its the only spot in the lot with shade in the afternoon ... thanks asshole

 

does it have your name on it?

im gonna go to work in about a half hour.

 

I want to go home.

 

I can't wait until Wednesday when I can sleep in.

 

no but it should ... the civic is the only car in the lot that fits in the spot without cutting into the corner the spot sits on

 

now im at work and bored

these mid-week holidays are nice though. It's a great way to dismantle a week.

 

ok soooo my first day back in over a week ...

76 emails to crunch ... done
compiled down they gave me about 2 legal pad pages of tasks i need to do on top of my normal duties that got behind

and what do they do to help me catch up ... they stick me on all the incoming help desk calls for the day ohh wednesday is looking mighty good right about now

i've been here almost 2 hours now and i've scratched one item off my list thanks to this help desk BS

 

I do that too. I have a nice shady spot at the end of the lot. A have to walk awais... but.... Cool car > walking to get there.

Leave a nasty note. h: Spots like that are worth fighting for.

 

Went walking around yesterday... and found a path that leads under the highway, with a cool river underneath... it was shallow enough to walk... but... after about halfway, the water started seeping through the seams of my boots. I left them out to dry... and put them on this morning... they were damp enough to cause my socks to become gradually uncomfortable. h:

Meh.
