Yeah, they're definitely starting to come down. I just want to make sure I get a decent one. I would consider the HD-DVD/Bluray combo if it wasn't $1200.

Blockbuster just committed to exclusively stocking Bluray, so maybe that will push the format war to the edge.

Watching X3 in HD right now...and it's outstanding. 1080i broadcasts are so much better than 720p...I can't wait for 1080p!

720p and 1080i are 2 ways of saying the same thing

720p = 1080i

Not the same thing, and I can tell a difference between our TV's.
