the reasoning behind it is ...

1. you drove the wrong way in traffic to get your car positioned like that.
2. When you pull out, you'll be going in the wrong direction of traffic
3. When did you get a TL?

I was trying to sell a car once and I had a for sale sign in the window. I parked at a meter, paid the meter, went to eat dinner, came back before the meter ran out, and had a ticket for "advertisement in a public place" or something like that. $40 worth of bullshit.

yeah, but i only park my car when theres no one around, i.e. real late or real early. and its a back road with close to no traffic so it was the last thing on my mind

yeah, the more i think about it the more no-brainer this whole thing is  whatever. lesson learned, right?

got the TL about 3 weeks ago. had to lower payments and leasing a TL is easier on the wallet. i miss driving a 6spd

Did you try to fight it? That's seems ridiculously nitpicky to me. I would have fought it. h: I've never even heard of that being illegal... is a just a local ordinance or is this a national thing? Weird.

I think it's a Denver city ordinance. When I paid it at the county clerk i asked if I could fight it, and you can but you have to actually go to court to do so and the clerk said that the judges normally take an "ignorance is no excuse" stance, so if i wasn't disputing the facts I would almost certainly lose. For only $40 it wasn't worth it.
