The cinematography on the 2nd one really irritated me. They switched to that "real world" style where the camera is really shaky and unsteady. Quite annoying.

There are 2 more books, but they were not written by the same guy as the first 3. He just uses the character. I haven't had a chance to read them yet.

agreed, it's a cheap and now popular effect. 1st one was definitely better than the 2nd.
