I've read the Cingular W810 (newest firmware) works really well. The W300 now with it's newest firmware is probably compatible. I was reading older threads where others were having difficulties making calls when it was paired up with their Acuras.

They could receive calls, but couldn't make calls. Or voice dialling woudln't work. Sometimes the phone would disconnect.

But I think these were problems were alleviated as these were brought up when the phones were first released (near the end of 2006).

Since both the W810 and the W300 have been out for a while, I'm pretty sure that these phone now come with the newest firmware and should not really be a problem.

The phone you get should already have the newest firmware available, so you probably won't have to worry about that.

If not, you could install it yourself via USB cable (probably sold separately if you're getting the Cingular/AT&T version not positive on that though) and through a site like wotanserver.com

But usually a site like wotan is used for unbranding (to generic firmware, which is mostly better) and unlocking (so you could use any SIM card on your phone).
