I got my first table and set of chairs from them, I paid $40 for the table, and $25/chair. it served its purpose for the time. Now I have a very nice sturdy dark wood table and some nice furniture. I might get some accent pieces from them in the future, but when it comes to decorating my place I'm going to a real furniture store for the bigger items like a bed, couch, etc.

Its hard to explain but here is a good example.

I wanted some bamboo blinds for my porch. Home depot and Lowes had the ones with thick peices of bamboo and heavy duty latches and all but it would have been like 150 for 3 of them. Wallmart had these plastic ones that just looked shitty. Ikea has these simple bamboo and rope shades for like $7 a peice, they are simple but well made and look nice.
:werd: it's not the nicest stuff but it's a hell of a lot nicer than target/walmart/kmart crap.
Ikea isn't going to have the fit and finish of more expensive stuff but it's great considering what you pay and how long it can last.

My dresser and two night stands came from Ikea....but they're actually solid pine or cedar...I forget which h:...but they are very sturdy, and not laminated.
