check the dosage for it to be free at meijer or even $4 at walmart. the freebies r on dosage sizes not many people use. if it keeps coming back then amoxicillin probably wont work u may need to use clindamycin or flagyl. the root canal may have failed, the tooth has a fracture, the gum is infected or the infection is in another tooth.
there seems to be an increase in dental infections that r becoming hard to treat even with drugs. u may want to see a dentist or endontist to get the correct dx, drug and dosage. the amoxicillin may not work and u could be worse off.
most dental infections r anaerobic. some may start out aerobic, be mild and if caught early enough amoxicillin may work. the anaerobic, more severe, longer lasting infections require clindamycin or flagyl. sometimes pills dont work and u need iv antibiotics.

It's wierd too as the "swelling" varies by day. Sometimes I barely feel it and it's good and one day it might get a lil puffy. It's very wierd.
h:Making an appointment for next week.
