my pc has just restarted itself like 10 times today. im getting messages like "0560005" failed to use memory "0006665" and crap like that.. what can it be?

Probably your fan. Cant be anything with the memory.

are you getting a blue screen?

try to get the exact stop error number (0x????????) and then google it.

In my experience stuff like that required a reinstall of the OS. But wait till someone more knowledgable chimes in.

no blue screen but yea i had it and wrote it down but then it rebooted and didnt come up again. h: i wrote it on an aim window.

can you burn a cd?


http://www.memtest.org/download/1.70...+-1.70.iso.zip
Download, burn, reboot. Test for an hour or 4 with that and see if you get any errors. If yes, then replace ram, else lick nuts.

no cd burner, i have one but the mobo where the connection goes is broke.
