That is what you had to do at my old house. Bring your garbage to the dump and pay.

But that was in the 80's

what ya dumping anyways?

your city might have special recycling programs for your trash. (appliances, furniture, etc)

varies from landfill to landfill

i know ones that charge, and ones that if your a resident of the township its free, you get a card.

the governing body in charge of refuse for your area would make these decisions

true, forgot about the resident ones.

our neighbor had a camp in a neighboring county where he had access to the dump, so we went with him a lot.

hm, i kno the city offers one free pickup / calendar year, but was wondering because i have a few mattresses and a water heater jus laying around
