Why buy a bankcard...
Why do people need to buy reloadable bankcards, why not just go to your bank and have one issued??? Just saw a commercial for one.

For a little bit I didn't have a bank account.. and I would go to a check cashing place to cash my checks... they had ads for them there.. so.. I'm assuming it's aimed at people who can't get bank accounts...

What is stopping someone from opening a bank account, other than illegal activities? I opened an account when I was a teen.

I think it's aimed at people that don't need access to all their money at any given time. Either teens with an allowance, compulsive spenders, just irresponsible people in general.
