Default Mother Ducker!

As teh people that pay attention know, i am with Nextel's Blackberry support. I have been working in this department for close to a year. The leaders keep incrasing my workload, but i am still makeing the same pay as i did when i started. There was a person today that demanded a supervisor, so i got one, and had to walk said sup through the complex call. Not only did i know more than the sup that took the call, but ended up answering questions for other agents with problems on the calls they were having. I do not understand why, with the knowledge that i have. They will not increase my pay, or promote me in any way. Keep in mind i do not show up to work late ever, and i make up teh time i miss.

I want to quit this shit.. Now.

eh, well.. just wanted to rant for a while i guess.

Have done. I guess i may have been looking at the wrong person though. I Have been looking to my supervisor. I should be looking to the person above him if i want his job. I have made myself known as a person with teh knowledge and drive to do any job.

I just want what i have been working for. I think i may have to go to another company to get what i want. They keep buying me dinner with my girl, concert tickets. i can get this myself. i want more fucking money. I have made it quite clear. I hope they take action, as i really like my job. I fix stuff and make people happy..

And yet another reason why I left Sprint/Nextel. I did that for 5 years and was in the same situation.

It just sucks leaving a job you like so much. I really want to get promoted. I have been looking for a better one. I have found some better paying, but none that i think i will like as much as this one.

When I was a department head at the hotels that I worked in I wanted my staff to want my job. Most supervisors don't like that, and feel threatened by it. I didn't get a couple of jobs because I wanted the person's job that would have hired me, and probably the next two steps as well. If supervisory personnel aren't secure in their jobs don't expect to get any help from them.

if your boss doesn't recognize your talents, go to his boss. i had the same problem. i was stuck in 1st level tech support for 4 years until we came under new management and the new boss recognized my potential. i went from bottom of the barrel to the top paid person in my department.
