Default Wasted day...grrrr

So I get a late start on the wiring because I have to do some running around today...I guess this sets the pace because even simple tasks were a hassle while doing that.

So I go out and get the rig in the garage and start looking at where I want to place the fuse box. Can't put it in the stock location, can't place it under the dash because the clutch pedal hits it.....ohhh I know I will mount it to the center console and then put a Tupperware container over it. Pretty fucking ingenious if I do say so myself.

So I check to make sure the wires will run to their locations and everything running the furthest distances fits. this means I can mount it then run it under the body inside the frame rails and do a nice tuck job

Grab the drill and drill my holes.

Grab the router and rout out a nice wire hole.

Grab wire and...shit! Where did these short wires come from and where do they go? Dammit Tim! It's all my fucking dash wires....sigh.

So I look for a new spot because I am not going to sit there and splice my dash all together making the wires look worse than they do...fuck that. So I look around and finally I decide that the heater needs to come out so my fuse box can go there (didn't wor anyways).

I don't know who the hell put that heater box in but that was truly a marvel of bullshit.

Anyways 3 hours later my heater box is out, all the hoses are re-routed and the fuse box is mounted.

Time for a couple dozen beers and some dinner because everytime I see the hole I drilled I just want to kill something :chuckles:

That is where continuity of connection many times fails

Besides this is a brand new wiring harness to rewire the entire vehicle from front to back and it is going on a vehicle that is going to see a lot of abuse in some remote locations.

The last thing I want to do is be stuck in the middle of nowhere trying to find which connection finally decided to fail on me
