brillant product placment by chevy the have bumble bee as the new camaro concept. I'd rather him be a newer version of the VW bettle as that would be the proper way to do it up. oh well, the movie might be dumb but the effects are going to be crazy.

My understanding is that they approached VW to use the Beetle, but VW nixed the idea. Chevy Camaro > VW Beetle anyway, though I agree the throwback would have been nice.

 

well at least they gave VW the oppertunity to get involved with the movie. The camaro will be fitting for current times, although a yellow Mazda 3 or some sort of hot hatch would have been a better way to go.

 

Starscream is the jet.. Megatron is the bot rollerblading down the highway to tackle Optimus Prime.

 

For some odd reason, I recall the Toy commercial for this movie showing Megatron as the jet :doh:

 

Megatron is a type of jet, just not a modern jet. Starscream is modelled after a f22.

You mean in the movie? Because I don't recall Megatron being a jet in the cartoons....the OG ones at least.

Either way, he's a gun or a cannon (after Unicron revived him) so they made him into something else in the movie. It's not exactly exciting to see the main villian being wielded by someone hehehe....makes sense.

Anyways, I want to see it....I don't care what you bastards say. I thought Spider-Man 3 was lame some punks told me it was good....went to see it....turns out to be All My Children v.Spiderman.
