weren't you the one from the other thread that posted you have no title or designated position in the company?

I'm not one to bash on anyone's job. But, it seems like any company who's doing that to you might not have you in their best interest. Or, they simply lack the structure of a good company.
My comment on the career part is simply based on that.

thats me ... as for structure of a good company ... seeing how the last oh 20 years straight we've had increases in profit and are sitting pretty as the number 13 or 14th largest auto parts distributor in the nation ... id say our company is well structured. we are a very tight-knit company and sometimes that leads to people looking at how we operate funny, there are alot of people who do alot of totally different jobs in a day. they gave me this position knowing that either they move me up into the structure or they risked losing me totally. so they put me into corporate and just started putting tasks on me as much as i said i would take. i have yet to say no yet. i help deal with everything from pricing issues, to promo planning, to host maintenance, to web development, to new product training.
