Default External Hard Drive Recommendations

I need one for my lap top. I just want to back up/store photos on one. I guess I only need like a 150/200 GB drive for now.

However, someone told me just to burn DVD's...

Suggestions?

Do you require it to be small?

There are mainly 2 harddrive sizes. The larger ones are going to be much cheaper and hold more. A small one in the size you are looking for is going to be quite expensive.

On that note I like the Western Digital My Book. Quick and easy, no fuss.

Hop over to www.slickdeals.net and check out the "Hot Deals" forum. There are always great deals on external HD's that people post up. I'd check out some of those.
