I have Cingular and my friend has Verizon.
She can receive text from me, the pictures i send her takes a few hours, even a day, before she gets them. And from her end, I can't get text at all. And I get her pictures like over 2 days later.

Does anyone else have problems like this across networks?

well it looks like cingular fixed it for me.
my friend got my pic of mochi =)

 

sms = short messaging service
mms = multimedia messaging service

 

i don't think that's supposed to happen. but yea, i've noticed that too.

 

never had a problem with texts, pictures might take a while though because it's gotta go through the channels


try putting in the full telephone number including the area code, see if that helps any.. just maybe?

 

i have verizon, my gf has cingular and we have no problem now, but she used to not be able to get pictures from me.

 

thats what happens when you try to to crap like that on a "phone"
