oh ok, that makes sense. Looks good though, I give it mad respect. I remember when we did the 4 link on the dually it took us for fucking ever to get the four link even and locked in. It kept being off by like the tiniest bit but when we went to correct it, it would go all kind of fucked h:

what is he doing for the bed, just cutting the bottom out for the notch, or building a notch cover into it?

so how do you go about frame then? do you dig the frame into ground? lol

the frame is below rocker panel so you technically can't drop it to sill

His last one took a bad turn so he is doing this one all correct. I am not sure on the bed though, I haven't talked to him in a while a mutual friend just took these shots and forwardes them to me.

My guess is that he is going to cut and finish the bed, would be a shame to leave it a raw cut on such a good looking rig if you ask me.

yeah, we did our notch with tube steal instead of square stock, so we did kind of a cool "wave" cover over the notch. It was ruined when the bastard went with a bed cover and covered all the nice chrome air tanks and baby smooth notch cover :wtc:

Yeah you can drop sill before you hit frame...we call it a body drop, others call it a channel.

Take the body off and cut the floor out then raise it and reattach it. You can also cut out channels to fit over the frame, It's a lot easier and far more common to cut the channels out than reposition the entire floor of the cab and bed.

Looks pretty damn clean.
Should convert to the single wide tires in the rear.

I think it looks better when you do the entire floor, but on my buddies ranger it made the roof rather close, so we had to do some super low slung seat rails.
