who uses an HD antenna over getting cable and directTV? what antenna are you using? I'm looking at the Terk amplified indoor directional antenna.

I used to, but then my fiance(e?) ended up subscribing through the cable so he could get ESPN.
Our's looked similar to this one, but I'm not sure if it was that exact model/brand....

how was your reception? was it pretty good?
I can't justify $40/month for cable when most of the shows I watch are on the major networks, and I have netflix to watch movies. I figure HD over the air is the way to go for now at least.

Reception was good....there was one area of the room that it got fuzzy if you walked over there...kinda weird. But you could adjust the antenna to get rid of that.
Yea, I don't pay the cable - I pay electric/water and he pays cable/gas.

BOOM goes the dynamite!
i use one. we only get one channel perfectly, but i think it has more to do with the building. and sometimes other channels come in, depending on time of day.

I have an outdoor RCA one that mounts onto my satellite dish. It's aiight...the problem is some of the broadcast towers are behind my house, and the dish is in the front.
