Default no audio on certain TV channels...

I have comcast cable and for some reason certain channels don't have any audio. It's mainly Fox, NBC, and a couple others. The channels have been very consistent as to which ones don't have any sound. This has been going on for a couple days now. Any ideas as to what might be causing this?

man, i wish you were one of our customers. if audio is out on even one channel for more than a few minutes they're calling in.

is it just one TV or is it all the TVs in your residence? if just one, try tightening and/or replacing the coax from the tv to the wall. That will usually affect video before audio but it's worth a shot. You'll probably need to call comcast and have them send a tech to check your splitters and coaxial cabling and what not.

Then they'll butt rape you in the process with extra fees and whatnot

Ok, so I finally had time to turn on the TV and check it out. The tv in the bedroom is working fine but the one in the living room is still experiencing the same audio problems. It seems like it's only two channels...weird.

Check to see if you change the channels from "stereo" or "mono" it comes on.
